Alterations and Planned Maintenance
You should never make alterations to your property without discussion with your Property Service Officer and written permission from Castlehill.
To discuss alterations, you should call your Property Services Officer on 01224 625822 as written permission must be obtained before going ahead with any changes to your home. If you carry out alterations without approval, you will be recharged for the cost of restoring the property to its previous condition.
Planned maintenance
We have a programme of planned refurbishment and upgrades across our housing stock including window and door replacement and renewal of kitchens and bathrooms. Work is carried out dependent upon the age and condition of the property and to comply with the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS). Other projects to improve the energy efficiency of properties are considered under the current Energy Efficiency Standard for Scottish Housing (EESSH2) and the new Scottish Government standard being established the Social Housing Net Zero Standard (SHNZS) subject to budgets and external funding.
