What is Tenant Participation?
Tenant participation means you and Castlehill working together to share ideas, give feedback and influence decisions that shape the services you receive. It’s a two-way process: we listen, and you help guide us to continuously improve our services.

Your voice matters. As the people living in our homes, you're best placed to tell us what works and how we can do better. That’s why we encourage you to get involved.
Together, we can build services and policies that are even more customer focused.

How you can get involved
We offer a variety of ways to take part, whether you want to be regularly involved or just share occasional feedback:
CaRTO (Castlehill Registered Tenants Organisation)
CaRTO is our main tenant group, working closely with Castlehill to represent tenant views and influence decisions. New members are always welcome.
If you’d prefer to dip in and out of tenant participation, this is an easy way to see what’s going on and be involved, without the meetings. Home Link is a digital discussion forum. All you need is an email address.
Scrutiny Panel
Join our Scrutiny Panel to take an in-depth look at a specific area and make recommendations for improvement.

Scheme Inspections
Join us to walk around your area, identify issues and suggest improvements.
Consultations
We consult with tenants before making significant changes, like the annual rent review or new policies. Your feedback helps shape the outcome.

Share your thoughts via surveys, online at My Home or by post.
Make a suggestion

Tenant newsletter
Our newsletter, Castlehill Connects, is published twice a year with updates and useful info. If you have ideas or something you'd like included, let us know.
NETRALT (North East Tenants, Residents and Landlords Together)
Join a wider network of tenants and landlords across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray. Known for innovative award-winning activities like mystery shopping, conversation cafés and community radio, this is a great way to meet others and promote tenant participation.
