About Castlehill Housing Association

Castlehill Housing Association has been providing affordable homes and support services across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray since 1970. Employing over 100 people to carry out the work of a RSL, we own and manage over 1,950 properties, including general needs housing, homes for older people, and very sheltered housing. CHA also offer shared ownership. Via our subsidiary, Castlehill Solutions we offer mid-market rent options.

Another subsidiary, Castlehill Housing Trust, provides specially designed housing for people with a variety of additional needs. We also manage Aberdeen Care & Repair, supporting older and disabled residents to live independently at home for longer.

Like every registered social landlord, we are regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator and work to ensure we meet their requirements for high standards in housing and services.

Our Organisation

We operate as a registered social landlord and hold charitable status. Our main income comes via rents and service charges, which fund the management and maintenance of our homes. New developments are supported by Scottish Government and local authority grants, alongside private loans. Some specialist services are funded in partnership with local authorities.

As a leading provider of high-quality, affordable homes in the Northeast of Scotland, we are recognised for care and commitment to people.
